Hey everyone! I apologize that it has been a while since i last blogged. Things have been busy, internet has been down, and I have been sick. Such is the life of a missionary.

Holidays Away from Home
Anyway, I had intended to write a blog about my first Christmas away from home, but that just hasn’t happened. Cherise wrote a very good blog about it (very descriptive and I agree with the sentiments she shares). If you would like to know what we did over Christmas, you can find it here. It was very hard to be away from family and friends, but I will appreciate next Christmas all the more (and shockingly, yes, I did miss most of being in America for Christmas minus, perhaps, the commercialism).
New Years was interesting for me. Most everyone went to an all-night prayer service. I was at the house sick. I went to sleep around 9:30 and wasn’t awake for midnight or anything. Not exactly my first choice of New Year’s parties, but it was OK. I wish i had much more to say, but that was it for New Years for me. 2010 didn’t start with much of a bang.
I hope you are all doing well at home. Hopefully I will be able to write and post a blog about being sick and what I learned soon, so be looking!
We have been enjoying your blogs very much. I talked to Karen and she got me up to date on your illness. We’re so thankful you are improving. We will continue to pray for all of you and God to give you extra strength each day.Take
care. We love you! Aunt ann & Uncle Joe.
Kyle, so glad that you are on the mend, we have been keeping you in our prayers. Those of us across the sea were in a position to have a more “normal” Christmas, but it just wasn’t the same without those we miss in Busia. You continue to set a strong example of laying down your life for the love of someone else. (John 15:12-13) God Bless & Keep you, Brittany’s Grams
