So, because I hope to be able to make videos while on the field to post as blogs, I decided that I ought to practice making one before I leave. This is the result. The music is “Goodbye Ordinary” by Mercy Me, and I could not have found a more appropriate song to set my video to- one that both explains how I am feeling now and ulitmately, what I am doing: saying goodbye to the ordinary, comfortable life that I have known. The first part of the video consists of images of myself, my friends, my life or things indicative thereof. The video then shifts to a focus on Uganda and images of the country that I have found. I look forward to being able to make a video with my own pictures and video clips from there! This was my first attempt at Windows Movie Maker, which isn’t too difficult, so I hope y’all enjoy the video. Let me know what you think!
